Taking Part Work
Taking Part Work means a service provider works together with the people who use its services to try and improve the quality of those services.
We are often asked to provide an independent Taking Part Worker to other organisations.
Our current Taking Part Worker is Joanne Sullivan.
We currently provide this service to the support provider Ategi.
Claire Jones, Human Resources Manager at Ategi had this to say about our service,
'Joanne has very quickly been able to develop a rapport with the service users who form the Taking Part Group and I have already seen great improvements in terms of the members confidence. Joanne always comes up with great ideas, that are well thought through and conceived. It has been an absolute pleasure working with her and I very much hope I can continue to do so.'
In the past, our Taking Part workers have supported Dimensions UK and Cardiff Day Service users to have a say.
