What We Do
Helping Advocacy Matters Wales (AMW)
During our meetings we talk about things that affect Advocacy Matters.
We also produce our own newsletter and help to plan events.
Somtimes we go out to events as Advocacy Matters Ambassadors. This means that we tell people about what AMW does.
We act as Ambassadors for AMW because we appreciate what they do for us and others.

Service User Group activities
- Helped organise the Christmas party for Service Users
- Gave a presentation at Advocacy Matters AGM
- Been part of the interview process to recruit new members of staff
- Took part in NHS consultations
- Attended the Gofod 3 exhibition as Advocacy Matters Wales Ambassadors
- Staffed a stall at the Real Lives Real People health and well being event.
- Visited Cardiff Central Station to find out about the Orange wallet scheme and travelling by train
- Attended Diverse Cymru Consultation events representing Advocacy Matters Wales
- Helped with planning Advocacy Matters Wales' 30th Anniversary
- Visited Chapter Arts Centre
- Visited Roath Park Education Centre
- Helped design and write stories for the Advocacy Matters Newsletter
